A stone … if it is laying the middle of a road it may seem insignificant to some. But it all depends on who stumbles upon it.

A warrior can turn it into a weapon, like David who defeated Goliath; or Michelangelo who saw the beauty of something as simple as a stone and transformed it into a masterful sculpture.

A stone can serve as a place to rest after a long journey or even as a toy for a child, and was what inspired a man to invent the wheel when he saw it rolling.

Finally, a stone is what the person who comes across it wants it to be.

For me, it was a source of inspiration for these works that are here before you today. A stone has the ability to radiate positive energy and has its own vibration. I wanted to portray the stone as a power generator; I wanted to capture the strength and beauty of a stone through its colors, turning something as simple as a stone into a work of art.
